Can You Cheat In Dna Paternity Test?

DNA Paternity Test is the recent most widely used method of confirming a biological relationship of a supposed father to a child

. There are two ways to perform the said test:

1. Court Admissible Test. This is a collection of samples and is performed through a controlled chain-of-custody procedure with a third party to act as a witness and verify the authenticity of the samples. Obviously this is a cheat proof system if a neutral and qualified third party witness is considered.

2. At-Home DNA Paternity Test. DNA Testing kit is usually sent at home and the person involved is responsible for collecting his own sample. Typically this nature of collection gives off an opportunity to cheat on the test by submitting someone else's sample which will unexpectedly lead to a negative result. However, this kind of test is not admissible in court and is usually administered out of plain curiosity.

The accuracy of the DNA Paternity Test is normally established if administered by an accredited and experienced DNA Testing Laboratory. It can actually provide a probability of paternity in excess of 99.99% or alternatively release a probability of paternity of % thereby confirming with 100% accuracy of biological relationship.

There may be cases where in the laboratory cannot know if the samples provided are of the correct person. It is quite normal for a DNA test result to clearly state that the samples have not been verified, thus it cannot be used in a court of law.

The laboratory can easily detect if the samples submitted are of the wrong gender due to the standard part of a Paternity Test called Amelogenin gene. Submitting a sample of an animal is also picked up by the laboratory as it will not be possible to conclude the test.

So, once the samples are processed, the laboratory will issue a DNA profile that is unique to the every individual. But in the event that the result is erroneous and the other party manages to get the correct sample, the new profile can be easily matched to the old profile to confirm if they are similar.

Thus, if you are suspicious that the other party might cheat on the result of the test, you can request that the swabbing procedure be done in the presence of all parties and a neutral third party. Then make sure to seal and send the samples to the laboratory yourself, but if the other party still refuses to cooperate for some obvious reasons, you can proceed through the official legal channels to oblige the other party to cooperate in the procedure.

DNA Paternity Test is the legal standard to establish the biological relationship of a supposed father to a child. Find a reliable DNA Paternity Test Services for a great way to achieve cheat proof results.
