, can either bring two people closer together, or push them poles apart, depending on the situation. If your relationship has recently ended, then this is definitely NOT the way to get him back, and I'll tell you why.

During your relationship, if you and your ex were out somewhere and another guy showed interest in you, your ex would become really irritated and probably tell the guy in no uncertain terms, that he didn't appreciate anyone eyeing his partner. Although embarrassing to you, this reaction from your ex actually made you feel good.

You knew for sure that you belonged to him, and that there was no way that he would let another guy get between the two of you. In short, it was flattering to know that your guy was jealous of you. Now though, because you have broken up, you think that if you go out of your way to make him jealous, you would get him back.

You must understand that there is a vast difference between the jealousy that your ex felt when you were together, to the jealousy that he will feel now that your relationship has ended. He probably does still love you, but is just too angry to talk to you right now - given some time to get over his feelings he will more than likely make contact with you anyway.

However, should you become impatient and try using another guy to make him jealous to try and force him to come back to you, please understand that it will NOT work. He is already hurt and angry, and adding jealousy to these emotions will probably be the biggest mistake you could make right now, because it WILL push him further away from you.

You see, instead of feeling that he should take you back again he will imagine that you have lost interest in him and have decided to get involved with someone else. He will get the impression that he has lost you so someone else and you will never get him back.

Your best bet is to have patience, let him get over the break up, and then talk to him. If he knows that you still love him, you will have a much better chance to get him back into your life again.
