Before putting the wick in the shot glass you can wrap it around a toothpick. Cut 1/4 of the wick off before you light your shot glass candle.

Cut old candles into pieces and place them in a container, the top cantainer of a double boiler. When you want to use a certain color, you can use uncolored wax when needed with the old candles to make the color you want..

Place the container of wax into the other other container of of your double boiler where there is boiling water. Wait until the candle pieces melt.

When you see that the wax has melted, this is the right time to put some dye for color, if you want. If the color is not what you want then add dye to it untill it is.

Prepare your wicks. Remember what was said earlier about using a toothpick. Cut them so they'll fit into the shot glasses.

Place these wicks into the shot glasses.

Pour the wax into the shot glasses being very careful since it is a small object, but make sure that it does not submerge the entire length of the wick.

When the wax has nearly set, you can then adjust the wick to the center of the shot glass. Don't mess with the shot glasses until the wax has completely cooled.
