My favorite Canon camera to date. I was not ready to buy a full frame 5D Mark II, then the next best option seemed to be clear, "7 d '. I thought it was too big for my small hands, but it was not. Love the sharpness and all the new Canon has included in this model, in particular the launch of a wireless Speedlite flash by pop-ups and HD video. It 'been a great upgrade for Canon Rebel. Canon 7D is an advanced Canon EOS DSLR designed primarily for sports and action photography.EOS 7D is a step forward (not replacement) Canon 40D and 50D.The body as such but 40D/50D buttons and switches has been repositioned for better accessibility.
There are a lot of improvements from the line 40D/50D, such as improved image resolution (18 mp), better noise management and latitude, full HD video recording, 8 fps continuous shooting and better weather seal.
Canon 7D weights 900 g only 90 grams heavier than 50D, and is the exact size 148 x 111 x 74 mm (5.8 x 4.4 x 2.9 in) as 50D.This is done by magnesium alloy body that is lightweight and durable.Unlike entry-level cameras, 7D is weatherproof.
Canon 7D has two main dials (one inch dial and a round face), an 8-way joystick and plenty of dedicated buttons and switches.It is forever dedicated Live View button or video recording.He also Q menu, which let you view and change the setting as popular as exposure compensation, image quality, etc.

LENS 18-135mm
Unlike the Canon full frame or APS cameras, Canon 7D is compatible with all Canon EOS goal, including EF-S and EF lenses.In this review, I used a Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS.This lens is good enough to walk slow because of its focal length (equivalent to 28-216 mm).
It 'large enough to capture construction, and long enough for candids).function of image stabilization is useful up to 3-4 stops.The goal is not USM / ultrasonic motor, in order to produce some 'noise when focusing.However, the speed of focus is very good for both still or moving subjects.
Bokeh / out of focus rendition is soft and pleasant.It 'much more pleasant than regular 18-55mm VR lens kit.However, the depth of field is still quite large because of sensor size and large maximum aperture.
To get a strong image and get the maximum benefit of Canon 7D 18 mp sensor, better lenses are recommended, as the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens for Canon DSLR cameras or Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM UD wide angle zoom for Canon digital SLR cameras.L series Canon lenses are also recommended.
AUTO FOCUS PERFORMANCE
Canon has improved its 9-point autofocus system (line 40D/50D) system to 19 points.With further cross-type AF points all, autofocus is fast and precise.New AF system is the system of zones.
AF area selection Automatic AF points, but limited to a small group of AF points in viewfinder.Grouping more AF points in a cluster, it has become easier and more accurate monitoring rapidly and unpredictably moving subjects like sports photography.In short, the AF system is much better than previous Canon DSLR cameras.

- No Auto ISO limiter, such as cameras in Nikon or Canon EOS Rebel T2i 18 MP CMOS APS-C digital SLR camera with 3.0-inch LCD (body only)- Auto ISO is limited to ISO 3200- Relatively large and heavy- No dedicated button for exposure compensation (you must go to the Q menu to change it)- Auto Focus in Live View is a joke, it takes up to 3 seconds to lock focus
