Cape Town is a vibrant, beautiful city set at the very end of the African Continent in South Africa

The Table Mountain in Cape Town is the 'Grand Old Man' of Mountains.:) It is approximately 260 million years old. The Rockies (60 million years), the Himalayas (40 million years) and the Alps (32 million years) are kids compared to it!

Apart for the beautiful sight it presents bordering Cape Town's splendid coastline, it also provides you with an awe inspiring view of the entire city. There's an aerial cable way you can board to get to the top and this cable way itself gives stunning views of Cape Town. And then there are hiking, rock climbing and caving activities too!

The activities you can find here include hiking, mountain bike ride, surfing, water boarding, boating and a lot more. You can also go for a walk on the numerous trails around the park. Within a minute's walk you can look across the edge of Atlantic Ocean, there is an indescribable feeling that you get standing at this point. Apart from the outstanding views of the sea, the serenity in the atmosphere all around you is a great pleasure.

Another attraction which is also partly a shopping mall is the V&A Waterfront. Here you will find some of the most exclusive shops in the region as well the national retailers. There are always fun kid's games and activities with live shows also taking place in the outdoor amphitheater. Award winning restaurants and cafes are dispersed throughout so there is always a lovely welcoming place to have a drink and a bite to eat after a long day's shopping.
