Career And Self-development: The Need To Find A Purpose In Work.

Every individual has sometimes felt the need to change something in life

, work or goals for existence. These aspirations stand to reason, especially taking into account the great load of mass media resources on self-improvement, self-realization, creativity and multiplicity of possibilities people have. Thus, the individual may be misguided by the offered choices and lost in the variety of offers. It is a common disease of the modern generation to feel dissatisfied with their work and to aspire for something more, something better, more meaningful and valuable. However, this vision is often an illusion and only prevents the individual from achieving the purpose in life. How can one find it and what goals should he or she have to be happy?

The Path to Happiness through Statement of Purposes.

1.Statement of purpose is usually a challenging process, hence it requires much attention and understanding of goal-setting. One has to distinguish short-term and long-term purposes, so that he or she did not get disappointed by a quickly-achieved plan and would not lose the wish for improvement by being unable to achieve the long-term goal within a short period of time.

2.Self-understanding is vital for the achievement of self-improvement in business and personal terms. The way the individual stipulates his or her goals depends on how well he or she knows him- or herself, how properly he/she chooses the objectives closely corresponding to the type of personality, skills and aptitudes he/she possesses.

3.There is no use trying to postpone some purposes for the future and define some time during which the individual will start achieving them. The reason for most failures is that people are not able to accept their calling there and then but try to define everything and plan all changes rationally.
