Change Your Life With Positive Thinking
I am going to ask you to something very strange now
. Firstly, I want you to listen to your thoughts. Now tell me, what thoughts fill your head? Would you label them as positive, or negative?
When you are walking down the road do you think that people will know what you are thinking and what is on your mind?
Of course the answer to number one depend on how you are feeling at the time, the answer to number two is of course no but they will be able to tell roughly how you are feeling.
When you enter a room full of people at a party does the room go quiet as if something terrible has happened or is everybody looking expectant and waiting for something great to happen.
This all depends on your frame of mind.
Unless you can act very well your frame of mind affects your general appearance and this also affects the people around you. Your attitude can be either positive or negative.
Your positive thoughts can invigorate those around you they become energised from a positive attitude.
Negative thoughts have the opposite effect and can make those around you gloomy
This means that positive attracts people and negative will repel them there is a tendency for people to shy away and avoid negative attitude.
We can also define attitude as the way of looking at the world. If you choose to focus on the negative things in the world, more or less you have a negative attitude brewing up. However, if you choose to focus on the positive things, you are more likely carry a positive attitude.
We must try and focus on the positive thoughts as this has been proved to improve health and increase your number of friends and people with a positive attitude can cope more easily with stress and problems. There is a great deal to be gained in life by having a positive attitude.
If you like yourself and are self confident this feeling will spread to others around you.
If you don't feel good about yourself and carry a negative attitude then others will feel the same way.
It can be difficult these days to keep yourself positive but we must try and keep healthy thoughts. It is a sad fact that of every 14 things a parent says to a child only one is positive.
There are several ways to keep happy healthy thoughts, think of things you enjoy, play with your kids, watch a comedy film, mix with friends and swap jokes and stories, think of the good times in your life, the list is endless and depends upon what you like to do.
We cannot completely cut ourselves off from the negative things around us but we can still always maintain a positive attitude.
This positive attitude can also help other people when someone is down most people try to advise them when maybe all they need is someone with appositive attitude to be with them and listen to them.
If you can always focus on the positive side of life even in the worst of times you will find your problems are easier to overcome.
There is nothing to lose and the whole world to gain by focusing on a positive attitude studies have shown that it improves your health, retards aging, helps you cope better with stressful situations and also has a positive affect on everyone you meet every day.
So adopt a positive attitude today.
