Checking Out San Diego Concerts
San Diego concerts are some of the most renown in the country
, and with summer approaching, music will soon take over the itineraries of locals and travelers to the city. There are several different affordable hotels, motels and accommodations to patronize when you come to enjoy the music, which is only part of the reason why San Diego concerts are so popular. The ease of travel along with good food, good entertainment and beautiful weather all inspire people to stop their busy lives for a bit to come and listen instead.
One of the most popular places to enjoy the sounds of the city is Del Mars Powerhouse Park, where concert series are often held. This venue is in Del Mar, and in fact concerts are held here every Tuesday night once a month during the summer time. Some of the bands that come here that have already made a name for themselves include the Eve Selis Band, Rockola, Ruby & the Red Hots and dozens more. The best news for people who are interested in sprucing up their Tuesday nights with a trip to Powerhouse Park is the fact that all of these San Diego concerts are free of charge.
Pacific Beach is famous for its sand and surf as well as the canyon in the area and its many natural parks. People come from all over to Pacific Beach to enjoy the unique natural amenities that await visitors, and during the summer evenings from mid July until mid August, people collect on the thick grassy lawns of this area to enjoy music series performances of all different types. There are many different groups that take part in the festivities every summer at Pacific Beach, and again there is also no charge for these San Diego concerts.
From May to September, the famous Spreckels Park comes alive with the sound of music with the Coronado series. The Coronado area is well known for the big trees, big parks, natural gardens and much more as well. The area has a small population, but on Sunday evenings during those summer months it grows dramatically as people accumulate in the park for an evening of music. These are held every Sunday at 6 pm in the summer, and anyone who wants to come to Spreckels Park for the music does not have to pay a dime to get in.
Thankfully there are plenty of neighborhood restaurants and shops in the area for people to fill the hump after these concerts in San Diego are over with, so if you are going to be in the area to enjoy some of the music be sure that you save time to frequent these restaurants and shops.
