Chef grilling burgers on the Mid-Hudson Bridge

Noah Sheetz is the Executive Chef for the New York Governor's Mansion and an advocate for local farming and sustainable food sources. In his mission to teach New York area families the benefits of buying locally raised produce, food products and live-stock, Noah and a camera crew lead by Green Peas director/prodcuer assembled local personalties Joseph Bertolozzi, Tommy Keegan, Jane Watson, and Albert Cummings on the Ulster County side of the Mid-Hudson Bridge in the Hudson Valley to shoot the filming of "The Bridge, a Burger and a Beer".

Using an example of the typical farming practices in New York, chef Sheetz explains that large concentrated farming operations feed their cattle a diet made up primarily of grains, when innature cattle eat mainly grass. The result of grain feed cattle is a fatter cow that fetches a higher price at slaughter. Though the ramifications to the environment and consumer is increasinglydetrimental.

Green Peas TV director/producer says that the show is meant to teach people that they need to support their local food sources, like small farms via Farmer's Markets and localgrocerystores that offer locally grown food products.

With the Hudson River as a backdrop, Executive Chef Noah Sheetz promotes local farms as a fresh, healthy and environmentally conscious food source for the family. Along with a film crew, Noah, Steve Galazzo, Joseph Bertolozzi, Tommy Keagan (Keegan Ales), Jane Watson (Green Peas producer) and Albert Cummings gathered to film "The Bridge, a Burger and a Beer".
