. The aggressive strategy of the American car maker can be seen through the number of launches it has conducted and also the number of launches it has slated for this year. Among the new cars to be launched in the Indian car market by the auto maker, Chevrolet Sail and Chevrolet Enjoy are two of the most anticipated models awaited by the auto experts along with the Indian customers.

Chevrolet Sail India launch is anticipated to happen in the month of October. Chevrolet Sail hatchback as we all know is going to replace the outdated and the dud seller Chevrolet Aveo U-VA hatchback. The hatchback will be placed above Chevrolet Beat in terms of price too; Beat is a popular small car from the Chevrolet"s stable and its diesel avatar has managed to attract ample takers every month.Chevrolet Enjoy MPV on the other hand is going to be a frugal choice for the customers in terms of both space and price.

General Motors India is banking a lot on these two cars to gain a high market share in the thriving Indian car market. Hatchback is an imperative vehicle to be included in a car maker"s portfolio in India as this helps in raising volumes. On the other hand look at the sudden shift on choice of the customers, MPVs are also gaining immense popularity. A good example of this would be Maruti Ertiga MPV which is launched at an introductory price and has singlehandedly managed to grab a huge chunk of monthly sales.

Value for money is the USP of Maruti cars in India and with Ertiga it has yet again proved its point. Now it seems that other car makers are also following the same strategy by offering low priced cars which at the same time also proffer ample space, good features and comfort. The company is struggling to make a mark in the B+ segment where its presence is almost nill. The dud sellers Chevrolet Aveo and Chevrolet Aveo U-VA failed to create a magic and pull in some good numbers for the car maker, even after launching the cars in CNG version did not get attention from the customers. However, the cars were not available in diesel version which could be a pit hole in the itinerary of these two cars, but the company is sure not going to commit the same mistake with Sail twins.

Chevrolet Sail and Chevrolet Enjoy could come as a respite for the Indian car buyers as other popular cars like Maruti Swift and Maruti Ertiga have a long waiting periods. Therefore Sail and Enjoy could be grab those customers who are not willing to wait long to buy Swift or Ertiga. The Sail hatchback will be equipped with the mighty 1.3 litre diesel engine therefore it will have an edge over other rivals in its segment. Chevrolet Sail price in India is expected to be placed competitively. The price of the hatchback will to some extent decide how it is going to perform in the domestic market.
