Chicago New And Used Hyundai Dealers To Welcome New Accent

Its another case of the auto spies hard at work

. This time theyve spotted what appears to be the new Hyundai Accent. Customers of new and used Hyundai Chicago dealers will be intrigued with this car and, I believe, will like the look of it.

The mystery machine was noted near Disneyland (Hey, why not? Maybe some magic rubbed off on it.) and experts who have compared it to earlier snatched photos claim it is definitely the Accent. They have compared it to the Sonata, saying this is a miniature version. I can see a resemblance, but then Im no auto spy. No report on whether Mickey and Minnie were taking a spin with Goofy in the back seat, but these spotters were sure about what kind of car they spotted and took some photos to prove it.

The rounded arcs of the large windows, or greenhouse as it is sometimes called, are certainly a trait of the updated Sonata design. The distinct chrome grille and sculpted metal of the body have a bit of a unique flavor, though. Chicago new and used Hyundai dealers will be excited to eventually get this model on the showroom floor, as it is different enough to attract new customers and draw the regulars in for a peek.

Nearly cartoonishly-large headlights and square fog lamps give this vehicle a sleek, modern look and should allow it to compete with the new generation of fun, urban vehicles popping up under other brands.

One reason for the confidence in identifying this mystery car as the Accent is the clear label of Verna, which is the Accents name in some overseas markets. So even though there has been no confirmation from Hyundai about the appearance of the new Accent, these photos are creating plenty of buzz and Chicago used Hyundai dealers will be thrilled if this does turn out to be the new Accent prototype.

Hyundai has not confirmed when the next generation Accent will be appearing in the United States, so all this is speculation. The photos, though, do speak volumes and are a reliable indicator of what we might expect.

Although theyre not likely to make it to Chicagoland, if you see Mickey and company, or anyone for that matter, in a Sonata-looking yet unidentifiable vehicle heading down the Dan Ryan Expressway, get some good photos. Wed love to know more about this mystery Accent.

While we wait for official word, customers of new and used Hyundai Chicago dealers can content themselves with the fact that Hyundai will eventually unveil the new Accent and all its features, amenities and it will be even more impressive than we imagined.
