This process actually gets to the core of the patients problems and when used with traditional techniques such as adjustments, will help the patient, not for just a few days, but permanently with many ailments such as poor circulation and bad posture currently being treated by active care.

In addition, this new technique can even treat conditions such as herniated and degenerative disks. These conditions were mainly treated previously with only surgery and many drugs. Any time the human body is cut open, it is prone to many different complications such as stroke or excessive bleeding. With this active style treatment, surgical procedures for many ailments in the back will be a thing of the past.

Chiropractors, who specialize in this new active care approach, have the ability to customize treatments to each patients needs. It is no longer lie on the table while the chiropractor "cracks" the spine, causing more trauma if there is any inflammation. Instead, the chiropractor will determine the different factors of the patient's specific case and provide the proper treatment for that patient. This can include the traditional adjustments as well as new treatments that promote total health of the patient, while getting the patient involved in their own treatment.

The new active care approach to chiropractic care is much more comprehensive than the previous passive care. This new approach gets the patient involved in their own treatment and focuses on total rehabilitation. These chiropractors that specialize in this field are not striving to see patients three to five times a week for the rest of their lives. They strive for total health of their patients, requiring them to no longer need chiropractic care once their rehabilitation goals are met. This style of treatment is sure to be the next big thing for the medical industry.
