A storm on the sun may mean a colorful light show for people in the northern part of the country

. Scientists say that two solar storms are shooting out.On Sunday, a solar storm blasted ribbons of plasma toward Earth at 2.7 million miles an hour. The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, was expected to be visible in a straight line from Montana to Maine because of the unusually powerful storm. The Northern Lights display typically only shows up in Alaska and northern Canada.

The storm will produce some beautiful moving effects of green and red light.These beautiful effects will be dancing across the sky, in a wonderful display of what nature can do.This is caused by the fact that, as satellites have discovered, a portion of the sun has erupted. This has produced a C3 solar flare, which started a solar tsunami that is coming towards our planet.

The SANS institute identified the potential Christian Louboutin problem after it spotted a "spectacular" solar explosion on Sunday. It said it expected the fallout from this to reach us today, and claimed that this could be seen through diminished satellite and radio signals as well as the possibility of the Northern Lights being visible in the UK.When a solar storm arrives on Earth it causes currents to flow through power grids. One example of how this affected us was that a town in Quebec in 1989 lost power for nine hours as a result.

The solar storm will highly affect astronauts and the function of satellites and the space station. However, people on earth wont have to worry about the radiation except if they are using satellite devices, like navigating instruments and satellite phones.
