My daughter came running into our bedroom, jumped onto the bed screaming she wants new bedroom furniture. It should be fun choosing furniture for a three year old; she will want everything in pink which happens to be her favourite colour like any other little girl.
Just last night my husband and I were discussing about decorating her room as we haven't touched it since our son moved to a bigger room a year ago.She wanted to paint the room before she moved into it but we just haven't had time to do it.
We all have time off during the Christmas period so hopefully we get to decorate her room as well as buy one of her few chosen pink wooden bedroom sets. I really hoped she wouldn't choose pink furniture but for my daughter it would be a dream come true as all her friends have everything pink in their bedrooms.
It's a great time to buy everything as the Christmas sales are coming up where most furniture items are usually half price, saving us money to buy the paint and rest of the accessories to complete her bedroom. We've realised decorating a bedroom isn't cheap not even a child's bedroom.
For my son's bedroom, he wanted a rug to match his football themed bedroom but it's proving difficult to find, so I am hoping to come across one during the Christmas sales. Once the kids' rooms are complete, I will start thinking about changing rest of the house.
