Cloud Computing Helps To Reduce Investment In Business
Setup of any business needs huge investment and efforts
. You need to develop infrastructure, hire staff, setup projects, managing files and much more. Most of the companies use latest technology and software to keep their business running. This too requires developing and maintaining the infrastructure, requires investment and time. Cloud computing is that technology which uses the internet and central remote servers to manage all these tasks. It maintains data and applications. Cloud Computing allows users and businesses to use their application software without the need to install them. These consumers and professionals can access their files from computer over the internet.
There are three basic types of Cloud Hosting: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). In Infrastructure as a Service, organization outsources the equipment used to support operations, including storage, hardware, servers and networking components. The Cloud hosting service providers own the equipment and are responsible for housing, running and maintaining it. When we use Software as a Service, the service provider supplies the hardware infrastructure, the software product and interacts with the user through a front-end portal. While using Platform as a Service, the cloud is defined as a set of software and product development tools hosted on the provider's infrastructure.
When we use Cloud services then we only pay as per our requirement, it allows a company to pay for only as much capacity as is needed. And the capacity can be easily increased online as per the requirement. That means the technology can be referred as utility computing. As services on Cloud, hosts both the application and the data, the end user is free to use the service from anywhere. There are two types of cloud: Public and Private. Public Cloud provides services over the same network to everyone whereas Private Cloud provides hosted services to a limited number of people. Public or Private, Cloud Computing is on demand, pay as per the use service.
There are many benefits if you put your application on Cloud. Application hosting services providers allow you to access your software from anywhere at any time. Multiple users can access the same software simultaneously so that different individuals of same organization can work on the same files and can share the same. You get rid of IT infrastructure setup and maintenance. All these tasks are managed and handled by Cloud host. Actually they save data and application on their servers according to the demand of users; they then provide the access to their users over the internet. As these servers are located in cool and secured environment. So the Cloud hosting services are known to be much reliable and secures. They provide the access over public or private clouds on which data remains encrypted, remains authenticated under firewalls. The risk of natural calamity is negligible. The data centers are situated in Tier IV earth quake free zones. Also while using cloud computing, there is no need to hire special staff for IT infrastructure; this ultimately reduces cost and lessens the investment.
