In recent times there is has been a surge of cheaper grade cashmere on the high street, but as with most things you get what you pay for. If the garment is more expensive the chances are it is made from a higher grade cashmere, won't pill or bobble, will keep you warmer and if looked after properly last for years.

Look for statement cashmere pieces, that are worth the investment. Shapes and designs that you can wear with a variety of looks both this seasons and next. Great shapes around at the moment are cape's, poncho's and scarf cardigans. All of which will look good now, but are classic shapes so won't go out of fashion.
