Community is a new television show by NBC. It is a comedy that revolves around a group of community college students who end up in the same Spanish class. The characters are all from very different backgrounds and vary in age, experience, interests, and aspirations. They all quickly become friends and meet up periodically, primarily to study for their Spanish class.

The group "leader" is a character named Jeff, who is often seen and referred to as the leader of the group. Everyone has their own unique characteristics and the show follows the characters and their adventures at the community college, known as Greendale. Abed, one of the other main characters, is an especially funny character who often makes pop culture references. Other primary characters in Community include Britta, Shirley, Pierce, Troy, and Annie.

Community is a joint venture between Universal Media Studios and Sony Pictures Television and it airs on NBC. The reception thus far has been pretty good with many positive reviews. Some are going as far as to say Community is NBC's next Office, which could be huge for the studio and the show. At this point, the prospect for Community seems really good. It currently airs at the old time slot for "The Office" where it has been able to hold on to 93% of the viewership. With a growing fan base and more coverage, Community can certainly turn into a hit. Some are already calling it the best new show of the fall and fans are anticipating a second season renewal, which definitely seems possible at this point.
