Compliments or Confidence - What is More Attractive

Girls love a confident guy but they also love compliments, which one is the best angle of attack though when it comes to chatting a girl up?

Confidence is always a must, you must show the girl that you are confident enough in your own ability to woo her but don't be arrogant when it comes to talking, don't always talk about yourself and don't always make out that your taking a step down by talking to her it's imperative that you have enough confidence to ask the right questions but enough modesty to not talk about yourself all the time.

Compliments can be good also, but you don't want to over flatter the girl as she will become disinterested with proceedings and you will struggle to make an impact on her in terms of being able to get her attention long term. Compliments can be used as a way to make her feel better about herself, but she may see you as a stepping stone to greater things so complimenting her too much may not be the best policy if you see her as a long term prospect. You have to show her that you can keep her interested and making sure you keep the right amount of confidence within the conversation and compliment her at the right time as well as making sure that you take enough time to show her exactly what you are made of.

Compliments are not all they are cracked up to me, they are an easy way to try and win over the affection of someone, and it would be more worthwhile to do something that is not what every other person who is after the same affection does. Use subtle ways of complimenting her and even more subtle ways of keeping her under the impression that you are confident. Look into her eyes without staring or leering but hold a decent conversation with her about where she grew up maybe.

Compliments or confidence, well maybe both would be ok I think personally a blend of the both is the best form of charm, what do you think?
