The tremendous heat that we are experienced right now is the effect of climate change that cause global warming

. In relation with this, we the people who lives in this planet must unite and take our part to listen the effect of this what we called "global warming". One of these is water conservation, everyone can play a part starting at home, at workplace, school or in community, to conserve and protect the water that we are using in our daily lives and sustained for future generations.

Here are some of the water saving ideas applicable to your home:

Kitchen water saving tips - when washing dishes by hand, use the two sinks one fill with soapy water and the other one with clean water for rinsing. And remember to soak pots and pans before washing. A water saving dishwasher is also a thing to consider in buying, newer models can cut 20-30 percent of water usage than non-conserving models.

Bathroom water saving tips - did you know that almost 60 percent of the total water usage in home is in the bathroom. That's why check regularly for any leaks, and leaks that commonly found in the bathroom are in the faucets and in around toilets.

Outdoor water saving tips - 50 percent of home water use is accounted in lawn watering and other outdoor uses. Don't over water your landscape as it can cause poor health and can damage totally damage your plants. Just give an adequate amount of water to the plants that they need.

Car Washing - use a bucket instead of hose in washing your car. Using a bucket will save you around 200 litres of water, and using a bucket with sponge plus a trigger nozzle on the hose will give you about 300 litres of water savings.

Pool - if you own a pool in your home make sure to cover if it is not in use. Having a cover will keep your pool clean and cut down the evaporation losses. Aside from that check regularly if your pool is free of leaks, such as water inlets and filtration system.
