Costa De La Luz Location Guide For October 2010

So you planning a visit to Costa de la Luz with a view to buying property here in

Andalucia but you would like to know a bit about the place before you visit well hopefully this guide to will help you.

Due to the slightly windier conditions the Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is a haven for water sport enthusiasts such as wind surfers, kite surfers and wave surfers. It is the most spectacular scene sitting on the soft sandy beach and trying to count the number of kites tossing around in the wind pulling the kite surfers along at tremendous speeds. Due to the landscape and terrain behind the sea, there are many sports and activities available on the Costa de la Luz. It is not unusual to see horse riders galloping along the beach or in the hills behind or the sound of quad bikers negotiating the rough terrain. Golf lovers will certainly not be disappointed as there are many top quality gold courses to choose from the most famous of which is the Novo Sancti Petri Golf Course. The Costa de la Luz (Coast of light) is the western part of the Andaluca coastline that faces out to the Atlantic. The sand is finer and a more golden colour than the neighbouring Costa del Sol. The typical beaches here are more expansive and probably backed by sand dunes and pine trees. This part of the coast has not seen the high-rise hotel development of other areas. The temperatures are slightly milder and the often strong Atlantic winds and waves are favoured by wind surfers and surfboarders alike. This coast is often divided into two sections. Costa de la Luz (Huelva Provincia) which stretches from the Portuguese border to the Donaa park and the River Guadalquivir.) Costa de la Luz (Cadiz Provincia) stretches form the River Guadalquivir to Tarifa at the mouth of the Mediterranean sea. To travel from one section to another requires a lengthy drive via the city of Sevilla.

I hope you enjoy your visit to Costa de la Luz
