Perhaps you have been meaning to improve the current walkway that you have in your backyard

, or perhaps you haven't got a backyard walkway yet and you have decided to finally build one if that's the case then listen up.

When you are installing a walkway that is outdoors, you will have to take several issues into consideration. Aside from the size, pattern, and color of the walkway, you will need to evaluate the safety of the people who are going to be using these walkways. You cannot just use any kind of surface, especially when outdoor conditions vary from time to time, depending on the weather. Of course, that would easily do the job, but can you imagine how boring your backyard would look like? They would look so boring and cheap, and it won't be able to guarantee durability. When you take that into consideration, you should probably try to go for a more interesting approach when it comes to your backyard, just to make it a bit more fun.

These tiles come in different tones that are usually within the natural range, which make them even better since you are going to be using them in a natural outdoor area. If you are feeling confident about your choice of travertine tiles, you might even feel like installing a few of your travertine tiles around in different locations around the backyard, just to compliment the walkway that you have put in.

There are going to be different patterns you can incorporate in your design, so when laying down your travertine tiles, do not feel restricted! Go all out with your patterns. You could line the tiles up in a very intentional manner, or you could use an assortment of sizes so that they are arranged quite randomly. Also, you could experiment with the color you do not need to stick to just the one color of travertine tiles. Be as creative as possible, since you want your backyard to have your own personal touch, you might as well begin with your walkway.
