Cash can be lost or stolen, and if that happens, there is nothing you can do about it. If your credit card gets lost or stolen, however, you can report it to the credit card company and they will refund you the money and send you a new card. Using credit cards also makes ordering things on-line and over the phone a lot easier as well. Since you can get some pretty good deals from ordering on-line (not to mention saving time and money on gas), credit cards really are very useful.
