Two problems can stem from this. Although both methods fix credit errors, people are receiving different types of treatment. This is rarely a good idea. Another problem is that the workers who are removing errors of those influential people are not always doing a thorough investigation into the matter to see if they are actually errors. The credit rating bureaus deny that lists such as these exist, but research into the matter by lawyers and consumer advocate groups are saying otherwise.
