Defend Yourself - Wake Up And Smell The Reality!

The original meaning of the world "gentleman" (pronounced 'genteel-man') had nothing at all to do with being "gentle"?

It's true. Part of what made up a "gentleman" in days-gone-by was the ability to stand up and fight for what was right. A gentleman was always skilled at fighting, the sword, or other tactics by which he could defend himself and those of his choosing. He (and she by implication of the warrior code) was as equally adept at self-defense as he was at knowing what wine to choose or how low to bow to someone of the noble or royal class.

The reality of the world is not what we've been taught in sports and our politically-correct social structure - the latter having grown out of the passive ideology of the weak who believe that if they can make violence go away, then no one will know that they're weak.

Did you get that?

The weak have convinced the strong that it's "bad" to be strong and to be able to take action if action is needed. They believe that if they can make violence go away...

...then no one will know that they are weak!

I don't mean to contradict The Bible but, the meek may have inherited the earth...

...but the wolves, criminals, and crazy people didn't get the memo!

The truth is that, contrary to the belief that "all things in life should be fair," at least when it comes to defending yourself and your loved ones in the face of an enraged attacker...

...nothing could be further from the truth.

This is not my belief based on some idea plucked from the ether or learned from someone I trusted to know the truth. This is based on my firsthand knowledge and experience in actual encounters with violent human beings and dangerous situations that...

There are NO Rules on the Street!

And...

Your reliance on, dependence on, or insistence on this idea - your need to act and do only certain things in a self-defense situation because you're a "nice person" - you're the "good guy (or girl)" - could get you seriously injured, if not outright killed by a determined and uncaring attacker.

That lesson is so important, that I'm going to say it again.

Pay very close attention because it could be the most important thing you ever learn...

There are NO RULES ON THE STREET!

Make no mistakes. Your attacker knows this and WILL take full advantage of it. If you think they are going to break the law AND still fight fair because you think they should (at the SAME time?!), you need to really consider the extent of your social indoctrination and level of maturity. That's my nice way of saying...

You need to grow up and look at what's really going on around you!
