Deteriorating Climatic Conditions: Greenhouse Gas Emissions

With the advent of technology and science humans are now more adamant in facilitating

their lives and therefore in their endeavor they have totally forgotten their responsibilities towards the environment of this planet which is fast degrading due to their negligence and continuous atrocities. This has become a serious matter of concern which can no more go unnoticed and has to be resolved immediately. The unnecessary cutting of trees and jungles to clear the land for agricultural practices and shelter for human beings is fast producing negative effects. The burning of fossil fuels and releasing of vast quantities of carbon dioxide and other Greenhouse gas emissions is turning into potential danger for the coming generations who would not be able to save this world from becoming extinct.

One of the serious and very apparent consequences of this increasing carbon dioxide content and the emission of the greenhouse gases is Global warming which she slowly and steadily engulfing the life on earth and creating disturbing consequences. Some of the widespread results are the growing temperatures of the land which has led to other natural calamities like the melting of polar caps and the glaciers. This has led to rise in the water levels and the sea level which is slowly submerging the land around the coast etc. Besides this there have been many changes in the climatic conditions of the earth and there has been an erratic pattern of rainfall in different parts of the world.

All these changes are having a very bad influence on the different animal and plant species, of which many have already been extinct and others are on the verge of extinction. Many organizations around the world are actively engaged in these environmental concerns and are trying to find a solution for the same and therefore have suggested programs like corporate carbon management and carbon neutral flights which can reduce the carbon content in the atmospheric air. This will certainly have positive results on the environment and save it from further degenerating. Besides these suggested methods are also very good ways of keeping a regular check on the carbon emissions on a large scale.

The time has come where we need to understand our responsibilities towards our green planet which will no more remain a healthy and flourishing planet if we continue with our lifestyles and negligence towards the drastic changes in the climatic conditions. This planet will perish soon if appropriate measures are not adhered too.
