During breast revision surgery, the plastic surgeon will typically remove the implants through the original incision site, and then work to correct whatever problem the patient has presented with. The surgeon will place larger or smaller implants, or lift the breasts into the desired position. The course of action will of course be discussed with the patient prior to surgery.
