Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is an American food television program which was on aired in November 2006 on the Food Network
. It was production of Page Production. This was hosted by famous Guy Fieri. That show was originally begun as a one off special program.
In 2008 March 31, it has been launched by Food Network in HD broadcast. Its early episodes was presented in high definition but never aired on the former Food Network HD channel. This show was like a "road trip" concept; Guy traveled to other places in United States and looked for the best drive-in restaurants, diners and dive bars.
Every episode had a basic theme (such as burgers or comfort food) with the host Guy Fieri who was visiting different restaurants to taster the food to connect the theme. The show focuses on small sovereign eateries, which was traditional American-style cuisine (such as barbecue, smoked meat, hamburgers, deep fried food, steak, and bacon-and-egg breakfast), local styles or cultural area of expertise. Most of the restaurants in show choose fresh ingredients and home styles. Guy was personally acting together with both the customers to get their opinion for food, and also with the kitchen staff who express that how to prepare one or more of the dishes.
In May 2011, the Plymouth, Minnesota bottom producer of the show filed lawsuit beside the Food Network. The lawsuit claim that the network unsuccessful to pay compulsory invention costs, and failed to make the show's host, Guy Fieri, obtainable for filming.
It leftovers vague how is the lawsuit or pending legal action will affect the show's future making. Food Network has said that they will carry on producing the show with Guy Fieri as the host, but has not yet broadcast who will produce the show going onward.
During one of the episode "Bar Food," Fieri stay the Highlander, a "fixture of Atlanta's late night party prospect," website.
