Samneung Park, also known as a prestigious old burial ground and a prominent resting place for some of Koreas distinguished kings and queens, such as King Seongjong, who was the ninth King of the Joseon Dynasty in 1392 to 1910 and his wife, Queen Jeonghyeon, is a place worth stopping by.

The Samneung Park is also a resting ground for King Jungjong, the second son of King Seongjong. Jungjong who played a greater role in Koreas history and is still a well-known figure among the modern public. Although the park is famous for ancient burial sites, this tranquil place is known among many as a serene landscape for a quiet evening, a picnic and a location away from the busy everyday lifestyles.

This park filled with green hillocks, pathways, forests and statues that complement their grand surroundings. Travellers can also discover some of the other nearby attractions such as the Bongeun-Sa Temple, Embroidery Museum, Kimchi Museum, the Dosan Park and the Yangjae Stream in close proximity to the Samneung Park.
