The Orlando Florida area is one of the top travel spots in the US

. Orlando is full of the most spectacular attractions on the planet, allowing enthusiasts to engulf themselves in a totally different adventure when traveling to Orlando. The theme parks are the main Orlando Florida adventures.

When travelers think of Orlando, many automatically think of Walt Disney World Florida. However, there are four great theme parks surrounding Disney World.

The best known is the Magic Kingdom. This is where you will locate Cinderella's Castle and such memorable rides as the Barnstormer and Jungle Cruise. The Magic Kingdom is consistently getting better, with by adding new and updated attractions.

Epcot theme park is a second top Disney park. There you will be mesmerized by Soarin', a multisensory attraction, and Mission Space, allowing adventure seekers an opportunity to race a rocket to Mars. Also at Epcot is Spaceship Earth, which is a time-space adventure taking from prehistoric times to the world we know today.

Hollywood Studios is where our favorite movies come alive. It's the home of two major attractions, Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. You can also catch shows that focus on popular classic movies such as Cars attractions. One more main attraction is the American Idol Experience.

Another Disney World theme park is the Animal Kingdom, home of the Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition. Here you will find a number of species of animals from every corner of the Earth. A number of attractions will put you in the heart of their habitats.

Universal Studios is our next stop. At this fantastic theme park you can feel like you're in such movies as the ever popular "Jaws" (which has since closed after 22 years of service) and "E.T". Universal's Islands of Adventure features such thrill rides as the Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket and Doctor Doom's Fearfall. It is also where you will find the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Hero Island for the children.

Another park you will want to check out in Orlando is SeaWorld. Seaworld features amazing animal shows, including "One Ocean" with the world famous Shamu. SeaWorld also has a lot of shows and attractions you perhaps didn't know about. You'll also get the opportunity to get cozy with aquatic and other animals.

Central Florida gets hot, mainly during the summer months. There are a number of top notch water parks in the area where you can cool down. There are a few that you will want to consider including Wet 'n' Wild, Typhoon Lagoon, and Aquatica.
