Discover The Best Vocal Lessons on CD for Beginners and Advanced Singers for Developing The Singing Voice

I want to tell you a little about my vocal story and use it to explain how you can improve your voice faster than you believe possible. You can use my vast experience of the voice to cut all the corners and get straight into developing the singing voice that you've always wanted. So...

It all started five years ago... before I could sing a single note...

I had always loved music, and yes... It was time I learned to sing.

To my utter dismay, I found singing very difficult... oh yes... I was very average indeed!

Actually, as I hummed down the hallway my father would often comment that I sounded like a wounded animal.

And to my total frustration, I had to agree! But I enjoyed singing, so I decided to keep at it, and invest some time and money into training my voice.

I thumbed through the yellow pages and discovered a vocal school in my local area. Minutes later, the lesson was booked, and I had begun my vocal journey.

Now for the first year of my singing career, I did improve a little. I also learned that breathing was a vital process, and also the where I placed my tone (where the sound is positioned in my mouth)

I persevered for a long, hard year... I would sweat through long practice sessions. Every ounce of energy that I could muster went into practicing. I didn't realize that singing would be so much work! (Note---it shouldn't be this hard)

Sore, Discouraged----Even Angry!

Every practice session that passed, I would come away discouraged, tired, and with a sore throat. Every session I thought I may have made some process, but no... The next session I would be back where I started.

There came a time when I got very frustrated with my slow progress, so I asked my teacher if there was anything I could do to speed things up. She said "You're not a talented singer, you will improve, but it will be a slow steady progress. "

I was happy enough with this, I knew I wasn't the most talented singer in the world (little did I know how much things could change with the right training!)

Despite my teachers kind advice, I wanted a new perspective. You know... another teacher to try some new techniques.

I was grateful of my first teacher, she was a delightful person and we got along well. I thanked her for taking me this far, and begun to search for a new teacher.

This time I wanted a top notch expert. Someone renowned for getting results. I asked around for a few months and finally found the guy. Now this man was truly unique! He was an amazing fellow with a equally amazing track record. In fact you can read about him here (but be sure to keep reading, I'll share with you soon perhaps the most powerful singing technique in existence)

His name is Brian Gilbertson, and he had quite a spiritual approach to teaching vocals. He had previously studying with some of the greatest singers of all time. His voice was simply stunning, and he had a way with words as well.

I took lessons with Brian for a few months. I had a great time and I learnt quite a bit about the voice. He used many visualization methods, helping the sound to flow through me.

But once again there came a time where I wanted more. You see, I enjoyed studying with these teachers, but quite frankly, progress was slow.

And I wanted to understand the voice as well. Up to this point, I still didn't really know what was happening inside me when I opened my mouth to sing . (And whatever was happening still wasn't perfect either!)

So once again, I began to research...

This time I turned online for answers. At this time I was quite sick of not getting results. I knew there must be a way to understand the voice, and then train it to sing wonderfully.

After weeks of buying and trying online singing programs (in most cases, vocal lessons on cd), I bumped into a site by vocal instructor Brett Manning. He was apparently a quite a well known vocal instructor, who has been involved with many well known singers. And guess what... finally someone who explains how the voice works! Brett was literally answering every question that I had about singing.

And after that first listen, before even practicing the first lesson---I began to feel like an expert singer... boy was I excited!

Even more amazing though was the first lesson. This exercise called the lip roll, literally began to transform my voice in that very first lesson! My heart pounded as I easily began singing about high C for a male. Easily!

This was amazing I thought. Singing was no big mystery. Not any more.

It was simply a case of practicing the right lessons.

I continued with Brett's vocal lessons on cd. My voice got better and better. I began developing a really strong upper range. This thing called the "Mixed Voice" which is a coordination you can make that allows you to sing really high notes, that sound amazing.

All my vocal tension began to fall away. My tone became slick and professional sounding.

Seriously, my friends could not believe this. They were like, "who are you paying for this voice"!

Every practice session became exciting. I never knew what was going to happen next! My voice literally transformed in a matter of a few short months.

Well, it wasn't completely smooth sailing. It took my quite a while to learn to use my whole voice consistently. But with these excellent vocal lessons on cd, it was bound to happen eventually...

And it did! I can now sing any note in my range, effortlessly and consistently. And I will continue to use the vocal lessons on cd, and continue to get EVEN better in years to come.
