For starters, the unit's volume is definitely loud enough, even at high driving speeds. The screen is easily read and automatically switches to a darkened "night mode" at night - very easy on the eyes.

The map's movement and fluidity is amazing. It gives a very natural motion all the time. Garmin claims the unit updates at 10fps, and it seems to be about that. I am still deciding if I prefer 3D or 2D mode yet, but both are great. It's the right size too: 4.8 x 0.8 x 3 inches and just 6.4 ounces.
