Apple has now released the specifications on the much awaited Apple iPhone 4G
. In comparison to the previous model the iPhone 3Gs there have been many improvements.
These changes include a flat back, and its glossy panels which are made of aluminosilicate glass. This glass is the same as what are used on high speed trains and helicopters. The steel band around the 4G is also super strong giving super strength letting them make the design ultra thin and this also functions as the antennas. The screen is a bit smaller than the 3Gs but the 4G is still about 3-4 grams heavier but it does have a much larger battery now that they have reduced the size of the internal components.
Apples engineers have not only renewed the look of the design but have also developed the new A4 chip. A new power-efficient processor that's capable of multitasking. This allows for the new display to have pixels so small that the human eye can't distinguish them, at 960-640 the back lit LCD display has fantastic color and is super sharp at nearly all angles.
On the 3Gs the camera was only 3-megapixel which didn't really cut it on the smartphone market. The 4G come s with a much improved 5-Megapixel camera which for most people will be more than enough. The new camera is capable of FaceTime calls and video with a flash that doubles as a light when recording. The camera app also improves the speed the shots are taken.
The microphone and Gyro Accelerometer have also been improved. With a microphone on the top for the Facetime calls and one on the bottom for voice calls. Its also capable of suppressing background noises whilst your making a call.
So with the new super slim glass look and fantastic new features you've got to give appreciation to Apples engineers for yet again bringing us another state of the art mobile. I know ill be eagerly awaiting the release date.
