Valencia has many restored old landmarks in this wonderful old city that benefits

of having nearly everything at hand, and pretty much everywhere is within easy reach when walking from your Valencia rentals. There are lots of walking tours in Valencia, either with a group or alone. They start from your hotel or rented apartment, wherever you may be staying, so be certain you do not miss an opportunity.

The Old Quarter is certainly an amazing area to discover when walking, with its cobbled stone pathways and medieval, baroque and modernist monuments. Do not miss the Central Market with almost a thousand stalls, situated within an art deco building. There are plenty of must see art museums in Valencia too: the Ceramics Museum, the Museum of Fine Art as well as the IVAM (Museum of Modern Art) for example. You will also find beautiful botanic gardens to explore and Malvarrosa beach, together with a park that surrounds the old River Turia. Over the river the Opera House, Palau del la Musica, the Oceanografis aquarium are frequently visited. The park also has some lovely old and new bridges.
