Distinguishing Feature Of Antimony In China

Antimony is one of China"s preponderant mineral resources

. The country"s antimony resources are world-famous for their large reserve, high quality and concentrated distribution. The provinces or autonomous regions of China possessing abundant antimony resources are, in order of ore reserve size, as follows: Guangxi (possessing 1.1557 million tons of ore reserve), Hunan (562,100 tons), Yunnan (284,600 tons), Guizhou (239,300 tons) and Gansu (152,900 tons). They have 86.1% of the country"s total antimony ore reserves. Other provinces or autonomous regions that also own a considerable amount of reserve are Guangdong (122,000 tons), Shaanxi (78,700 tons), Henan (51,400 tons), and Tibet (44,300 tons), of which the aggregate reserve makes up 10.7% of the country"s total. The reserves of Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Sichuan and Qinghai are scanty, amounting to only 3.2% of the country"s total. Table 3.16.1 lists China"s major antimony localities, their sizes and their state of use or development. Fig. 3.16.1 shows the distribution of the country"s major antimony deposits. Characteristics of the antimony resources in China are described below. 1) Reserves are abundant; deposits are large and many.China is one of the world"s countries rich in antimony resources. It ranks first in the world both in antimony reserve and production. Of the 54 world-famous large antimony deposits, 15 are in China. At present, the explored antimony ore districts in the country number 114, of which the large and superlarge deposits constitute 81% of the total explored antimony ore reserves of the country. 2) The metallogenic setting is favorable and the mineralizing conditions are suitable for forming large and superlarge deposits. The world"s antimony deposits are distributed chiefly in the circum-Pacific, Mediterranean and central Asia-Tianshan tectonic metallogenic belts, and 77% of the world"s antimony reserves are concentrated in the circum-Pacific tectonic metallogenic belt. China"s antimony deposits can be found in all the three belts, especially in the circum-Pacific. Some large and superlarge deposits of Hunan, Guangxi, Yunnan andGuizhou are centered in the west coast area of the circum-Pacific belt. These include superlarge deposits such as the Xikuangshan Sb ore field in Hunan and the Dachang Sn-Pb-Zn-Sb ore field in Guangxi, and a series of large deposits (with an antimony reserve of over 100,000 tons) such as the Zhazaixi Sb deposit in Anhua, Hunan; the Xiangxi (Woxi) Au-Sb-W deposit in Yuanling, Hunan; the Jianzhupo Sb deposit at Wuyu, Hechi, Guangxi; the Chashan Sb deposit in Nandan, Guangxi; the Qinglong Sb deposit in Guizhou; the Banpo Sb deposit in Dushan, Guizhou; and the Muli Sb deposit in Guangnan, Yunnan. As the professional manufacturer of complete sets of mining machinery, such as raymond mill, jaw crusher, Henan Hongxing is always doing the best in products and service. 3) The antimony deposits are highly concentrated in distribution. The explored superlarge and large to medium-sized antimony deposits are located concentratedly in Hunan, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Gansu. They account for 67% of the country"s total explored antimony districts and 86.1% of its total antimony reserves. 4) The single antimony sulfide deposits are dominant in reserve among China"s commercial types of antimony deposit.Their antimony reserves make up 67% of the country"s total. These deposits are mostly large or medium-sized, with some being superlarge (e.g. the Xikuangshan antimony ore field); their ores are simple in composition (dominated by stibnite), high in grade, readily mined, dressed and smelted, and of great economic value. The Sb-Au-W deposits of China, constituting 21% of the country"s total antimony reserve, are mostly small or medium-sized, with one or two being large (e.g. the Woxi Au-Sb-W deposit in Hunan); their ores are comparatively complex in composition (dominated by stibnite, native gold, scheelite and wolframite) and highly valuable for multipurpose utilization. The antimony (double) sulfosalt, polymetallic deposits of China, occupying 12% of the country"s total antimony reserve, are mostly small or medium-sized, with one or two being large (e.g. the Longtoushan and Chashan deposits in Dachang, Guangxi); their ores are complex in composition, suitable for multipurpose utilization, but difficult to dress and smelt.concentrator table price:http://www.crusher-machine.com/33.html China magnetic separator:http://www.hxjqchina.com/product-list_66.html
