Diy Solar Electricity
If you were to look at your yearly outgoing expenses
, I'm sure that you'd be shocked to learn how much of what you spend is going straight into the pockets of your energy company of choice. As someone who likes to keep a close eye on the accounts, I figured out that I was spending somewhere in the region of 6 thousand dollars per year on maintenance outgoings such as water, electricity and gas. The fact of the matter is, I'm not rich and I could do with that money for other things; things that I want to do, that are less boring and actually bring some quality to my life. I'm sure you can relate to me.
If you can then I'm pleased to let you know that now I spend less than $200 per year on said bills. What's more, I'm going to tell you about one of the most important things I did to make that transition. I can happily say that now my bills are no longer a concern, and the outgoings column in my spreadsheet is looking so much tidier for it!
Many people realise that you can harness the power of the earth's natural energy to power your own home, but most people don't seem to understand just how easy it is to achieve. What's more, it hardly costs anything and you can grow your mini power plant to match the demands over time. I'm talking about solar power, and I'm here to tell you in a very brief article the benefits of you actually building your own solar panel.
A couple of years ago, if you didn't really have the option to build your own solar panels it just simply wasn't possible unless you really knew your stuff. Nowadays, however, you can be hand held through the whole process, from buying the stuff from your local hardware store to completing the construction.
Of course you can also hire in third party contractors to do the work for you, but it is likely that this will cost you in excess of a couple of thousand dollars, and during these times that's quite a significant expense! You'll be pleased to know that building your own solar panels can take as little as a week and can cost less than $200 and a bit of your time.
The chances are you'll need two or three of these panels to power you entire home, but in the meantime if you run out of power from the solar panels you'll just rollover to the grid. You'll still benefit from significant cost savings that you can spend on other things!
These solar panel construction guides vary greatly so it's important that you get one that takes you through the whole process by the hand and doesn't leave you in the lurch so to speak. Some guides assume a level of knowledge that you may not have you'll find this difficult going. However, with the right guide, even your children can have your solar panels build by this time next week. And the only expense will be $200 for the equipment and maybe an extra $20 pocket money for the kids!
