The question is always on my mind.. "What is the difference between those who have achieved success and those who are seeking success?" I was at an event this past weekend in Los Angeles called 'Success Leaves Traces' and the conversation for 2 full days was all about that question. It is a topic that is of interest to almost everyone. Success may mean different things to different people but the habits of success are the same no matter who you are or what you want.As I was on the plane coming back to the cold and snow, I thought... seeking the sun is nothing like seeking success! We can't just jump on a plane and arrive. Maybe that is a silly thought, but I think most of us hope we can just arrive at our grand future and the success we desire. (that must be true or there would be more action takers and go-getters!?) Seems that many people are waiting and wishing more than doing whatever it takes to create that success.It is not that easy! When we hear the success stories of other people, it may sound easy, but we have to remember that what we're hearing are just highlights! When someone is great at what they do (think of a famous athlete for example), it looks easy only because they have mastered the skill! Actually, I like the notion that there is a price tag attached to success. The price, as I became more clear of while at the 'Success Leaves Traces' event is this:You must be willing to put into action what the majority of people never will!* You have to be extraordinary and work hard regardless of the fear or uncertainty!* You have to be willing to take consistent action and never give up!You have to maintain your FOCUS at all times and remember your top priorities!Whatever you dream of and desire for yourself.. it has been done, and if anyone can do it... YOU can do it! (oh, and you have to believe that!) Do you have what it takes? Of course you do! The burning question to be answered is whether or not you will demonstrate it? Will you take charge and get out of your own way so you can show the world what you are really capable of? What does that even look like? Where will you begin?
