? To be ripped? Do you want to see yourself in the mirror the same way you see body builders in the gym? You can have that feeling. Genes do not matter. The only thing you need is incredible work ethic and a determined mindset.
The very first thing that you need to do in order to gain chiseled features and core strength is to expel the excess fat from your body. In order to do this you must burn it away through fat burning exercise and supplementary exercises that will allow you to tone up while burning fat.
Cardiovascular exercise is one of the best ways to burn fat. In fact, it is the easiest way to burn fat. Cardiovascular exercise can include a number of things from running to power walking, swimming to cycling, even jumping rope. There are so many things you can do as well as a number of ways in which to perform each of those cardiovascular exercises.
The best way to build muscle mass is to do intensive strength training. However there is a trick to having a defined figure when it comes to being muscular. You must first burn off body fat, and while this is time consuming it is worth every bit of effort in the end.
If you would like to get a head start on forming your figure you can do some exercises that will not only burn fat but will also tone the muscles you currently possess. A great way to do this is to perform burn outs. Burn outs do what is implied in their name, they burn fat and wear you out while toning muscle and building endurance in a timely manner. There are a couple ways to do a burnout. Single weight burn outs are very simple and very quick, multiple weight burn outs take a little extra determination to keep up with, but both help you work up a sweat and build arm strength.
Single weight burn outs are very simple. You start out with low amounts of weight on a curl bar or dumbbells. The only difference between using a curl bar and dumbbells is that you will have half the amount of weight on the individual dumbbells as you will on the curl bar and each arm will be done individually as opposed to being done together. Once you have decided on your weight you will start holding the curl bar or dumbbells as if you are about to do curls. You start by doing five curls, then five half curls, bringing the bar up half way, then with five half curls the other way, bringing the bar half way down, then you finish with five more full curls. Do this in rapid succession. In between these sets make sure to do some tricep workouts to balance what you are doing for your biceps.
When you do burn outs with multiple levels of weight you not only do multiple reps in rapid succession, you do multiple sets in rapid succession. The only difference is that you add weight in between each set until you have added about 15 pounds. You then take off weight in the same increments until you are back to your original weight. You want to use less weight in a multiple weight burn out than in a single weight burn out.
Burn outs burn fat and tone muscle, defining your shape so that you can build your body into a massive force to be reckoned with. As long as you are still burning fat and toning muscle, try to do burn outs 3 times a week, supplementing with lower body and core work the rest of the week. Remember, burn outs can be done with more than just curl bars. When you notice your body is starting to take a favorable shape and you have burned all excess fat, you can stop doing burn outs and start doing intensive weight training so as to put on some serious muscle mass.
