, then you can have no idea how rough it can be. A person that does not smoke can have a very difficult time dealing with the addiction that their loved one has for many different reasons. It is usually very annoying for a non smoker to have share a home or even a vehicle with a smoker and it is something that they have to deal with on a daily basis.

First of all there is the smell. When you do not smoke tobacco, there is hardly anything else you can think of that smells worse. It will make your loved one smell. Your house will smell. Your car will smell. Their bad breath can be almost unbearable unless they constantly brush their teeth, chew gum or suck on mints and sometimes even those things do not help. It is really hard to cuddle or kiss someone that smells like an ashtray all of the time. It is something that most non smokers never really get used to.

Then there is the constant cleaning of ashtrays. This might be a minor thing to some non smokers, but some people just find looking at burned up and smelly cigarettes butts repulsive. Inconsiderate smokers let their ashes fall onto the floor and might not empty their own butts from the house or car. Then a non smoker might also have to deal with holes accidentally being burned into their rugs, furniture or other belongings.

Some non smokers have a really big issue with how much money their partner or spouse spends on cigarettes or other tobacco products. When you have someone that smoke a pack of cigarettes or more per day, that can add up to well over a hundred and fifty dollars a month depending on what they cost in your area. That much money can pay a water bill or buy food. This might not seem like a big deal either unless your budget already happens to be stretched to the maximum.

What probably bothers non smokers most of all when their closest loved one smokes is what it is doing now and what it will likely to do their health in the future. No one wants to think about how their loved one is going to die, but when you live with a smoker, you can them doing what is most likely to kill them everyday. This is one reason why if you have a partner or spouse that simply will not quit smoking cigarettes, buy them an electric cigarette and some of those annoying problems can be solved.
