By driving on the high beam you will not put yourself in trouble but another driver who is just coming from the opposite direction. Though, we all know that on high beam everyone drives well because we can see far ahead which we cannot see on low beams. High beam is more comfortable to drive but it makes blind to those who coming from the other side. If you are driving on the one way then it's a different story but if you are driving where traffic runs on the both side never put your head lights on high beam. Because it can makes other driver blind and Indian roads has no guarantee as what is lying ahead. Most of the time when there is a curve on the road, people often hit on the dividers because it was not visible because of the high beams that comes straight on the eyes of the drives. For those who drive on night high beams are like shinier than the sun rays.

Besides the high beams, nowadays automotive manufacturers are manufacturing halogen lights, they are thinking for their own benefit, as it is a corporate world so their conscience will not stop them but you can stop buying such thing which is not so essentially required. Most of the car manufacturing companies are not providing such halogen light in their new cars. It is not an inbuilt car lights. In a new car you get a normal light and normal fog light which is essential for driving. But in several states such as Delhi and Chennai halogen light has become a style statement so people are modifying their used cars in Chennai and Delhi and fixing halogen on the top of their car which has no such need.
