Dragons Den Backed Window Cleaners Wins Major Contract

A commercial window cleaners company that received backing from Dragons Den mogul

, Duncan Bannatyne has just secured a major cleaning contract.

UK Commercial Cleaning Services (UKCC) has beat off competition from other cleaning companies to sign a three year contract with private healthcare company Bupa.

The North East company based in Washington that started as a modest window cleaners business only seven years ago, will now provide cleaning services to over 300 of Bupas private care homes in England, Scotland and Wales.

The company that was set up by 26-year-old Tony Earnshaw when he was only 19 has come as part in the latest string of success for the company that also gained the financial backing of 100,000 from Mr Bannatyne after appearing on Dragons Den.

Mr Earnshaw is thrilled with the news and feels his company won it due to its high levels of customer service.

Speaking to the Northern Echo, he said: We are really looking forward to working alongside Bupa over the next few years. Cleanliness is important in any public setting, but it is a paramount necessity for a respected company such as Bupa.

We pride ourselves on giving the best customer service and working to the highest standards.

I believe this is why we won the contract.

Bupa are also pleased to be working with the commercial window cleaners that is now valued at an estimated 1.5million.

Gary Reed, head of property finance admits Bupa were impressed with the cleaning companys high standards and portfolio of experience.

He said: We are committed to ensuring our homes are as clean and well presented as our residents and relatives expect. UK Commercial Cleaning Services demonstrated a professional approach and the ability to cope with our extensive, nationwide portfolio of homes.

Bupa pride themselves on delivering a high level of care to residents staying in their care homes and part of this high quality is ensuring that their living environment is as clean and as comfortable as possible.
