E Smokers Revel in New Language with E Cigarettes

Despite the introduction of the smoking ban in public places a few years ago, and despite years and years of health warnings, there are still many millions of people around the world that smoke, proven to be harmful tobacco cigarettes. Over the years there have been numerous products introduced with the intention of weaning smokers off their cigarettes, such as the patch and the gum but still millions of people smoke.

The electronic cigarette burst onto the scene in 2008 (even though it had been around for about 5 years already) and Google labelled these e cigarettes as a breakout search for the last couple of years on their search engines.

Now even though there are smokers, who now exclusively use electronic cigarettes (instead of tobacco ones) that claim that the e cig has aided them in their attempts to quit smoking, the electronic cigarette is categorically not a quit smoking device. Most of the responsible distributors of e cigarettes will inform you that it is merely a product to give the smoker an alternative to tobacco smoking.

Despite plenty of opposition to the e cigarette, the product has well and truly earned its "breakout" tag from Google as more and more smokers decide the electronic cigarette may well be worth a try out. It has also received some pretty high grade publicity, especially from the ranks in Hollywood. Many Hollywood movie stars and others in these celebrity circles have seen fit to adopt the e cig as their smoking alternative and many of these have claimed that it has helped them reduce their tobacco smoking.

Johnny Depp's already famous scene from a movie (The Tourist) that has almost become better known for its scenes depicting e cigarette use than it has for anything else (it certainly wasn't reviewed particularly well by critics) has done much to herald the arrival of electronic cigarettes onto a world stage.

The product itself continues to grow in tandem with its supporters and user base, as new and improved models are gradually introduced to the marketplace, along with accessories to match. Just as tobacco cigarette smoking became a pastime or a way of life for some, so too e cigarettes. The device has become widely known as the "smokeless" cigarette by the fact that instead of smoke, the e cigarette produces an aqueous-based vapor which derives from heated liquid nicotine.

Will the electric cigarette have the power and the momentum to continue its progress, break down barriers and establish itself once and for all on the world market?
