These systems that has been designed and installed properly will work for a long time without complications. Most of these panels are installed on the roof of the house or the building which also helps the house to be shaded from intense heat.

They can be put up on the part of the house where the sunshine comes in the most. Ground level panel racks are quicker to install and also easier to clean since one doesn't have to climb the roof. Cleaning these panels on the roof is a bit of a task. Those available earlier were known to be fragile by nature of building. Today, the panels available are made up of unbreakable materials and thus require very little work to keep it maintained. The glass covering however, is the most fragile part of the solar panel system even today which needs to be carefully cleaned. Much care should be taken with this.

To make sure of good maintenance, some steps can be followed to clean up the panels, and remove the dust and debris that has been accumulated while ensuring all the screws and other connections are fitted tightly. Those panels that have been fitted in the area which is the most exposed to dust and wind should be inspected and cleaned up regularly.

When cleaning up the solar panel, first clean the surface with warm water and liquid soap detergent to remove the upper layer of dirt and dust and then go ahead for a thorough clean up. During winters, a person can use German windshield paper to clean the solar panels of snow. Since those today are made of unbreakable material, there is no chance of them being damaged due to hail or ice frost. This unbreakable material is made of delicate silicon and can withstand even the strongest of wind and hail.
