Eating To Stay Thin? Is This Possible?
Your answer is as good mine. I am also thinking of the same question, how in the world will I stay thin after eating? As I go through the "hunting for the answer" process, I came across one shocking fact. That is to eat healthy. Yes, healthy eating can be our way to staying thin and not getting those unwanted flab.
There is really no secret to this. The only thing we have to do is to keep our eating habits healthy, and to do this most of the time, of course. Given the fact that that we can always have one free time to indulge a little bit more than we planned to, we should really get back to the "proper" way of eating. And if we feel guilty after eating "unplanned", we have to get over it and move on! The guilt will not take us anywhere close to our goal.
If you happen to eat more than usual, try to forget about it and resume to your normal healthy diet. Don't punish yourself by starving to death. The act of skipping any meal will not in any way help you at all. Do you know that your body will not be able to grasp our idea of storing calories or even not eating one meal just for the sake of losing unwanted weight? What your body knows is that it has to be fed after every few hours otherwise it is not going to receive its proper nutrients as well as the glucose that is needed for normal functioning.
In actuality, skipping a meal, any meal for that matter, is not a smart idea especially so if your reason is because you over ate last night. To keep our blood sugar levels in the right order, we need to eat after few hours. What is beneficial will be is for us to eat the regular meals all throughout the day. This process will make us feel satisfied and you will not more likely to over eat anymore.
Another way is to be aware of our alcohol consumption. Drinking too much can also ruin the diet that we are planning to have. Be aware that excess beverages can also add a lot of calories, and you wouldn't want that, right?
It would also be wise to be always hydrated. Drink lots of water. Dehydration can actually lead to fatigue and it is a fact that being thirsty can also lead to the thinking that you are hungry. Sometimes the thirsty signal can be misinterpreted as hunger pains, when in reality it is not. H2O can also help in filling up our stomach, therefore preventing us from overeating again. As usual, it is advised to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day; and if you are exercising, you need to drink more. One good suggestion is to drink a huge gulp of water 30 minutes before your next meal; this will help prevent you from over eating.
Next, stop drinking sodas, even those so called "diet sodas". Sugar craving and being bloated will be the result of the carbonation as well as the sweeteners found in diet sodas. What can be good substitute to sodas can be green tea. Green tea actually has natural antioxidants plus metabolism boosters which will help you actually lose weight.
And of course, do not forget to have a healthy and well-balanced diet that includes veggies and lots of proteins. Stay clear of high calorie and fatty foods, like your loved hamburger and fries, but rather go for the nutritious ones. Include also routines that will promote cardio boosters.
Well, what do you think now? Is it possible to eat and stay thin at the same time? Well, as I have said, your answer is as good as mine.
