There are different grants for different purposes
. One can find educational grants, business grants, scientific grants, etc, which can be systemized according to different aspects. And there are various approaches which are used in order to differentiate this or that type of a grant. Educational grants also have different approaches to the process of systematization. Here is the classification according to the type of people grants are given to: 1. Educational grants for women. It does not mean that grant of this kind are given to every female student who will apply for it. The first thing an applicant should prove is that she is in need. One's desire to enhance her knowledge is last but not least. 2. Another type of educational grants is called minority grants. They are given for different national minorities, for example, for Afro-American, Native American students, etc. 3. The third type of educational grants is a teaching grant. The grant of this type are for students who have expressed a yearning to teach pupils in different educational establishments. Teaching grants are offered in all states of the country. But there is one point an applicant for this grant should be aware of: if he/she fails to fulfill the teaching program he/she will have to pay the whole sum of the grant he/she was awarded with. 4. Gifted students are rewarded by different organizations with technology grants. It is given for those who want to study for a degree in the sphere of technology and then continue their career in this or that company. 5. A single parent grant is given to a student who is a single mother or a father. 6. If a person was a soldier and now he/she wants to study in this or that educational establishment he/she may be awarded with a veterans grant.
