When the smoker inhales, the battery activates the heating element, the heating element warms up the E-juice and steam is created. The electric cigarette even has an LED on the tip that glows red when the smoker inhales giving the appearance that the cigarette is lit. It is an amazing invention.

There are several names for the electric cigarettes. Some people call them E cigs, electronic cigarettes, smokeless cigarettes, e cigarettes or smoke-free cigarettes, but most people call them a great alternative to smoking tobacco cigarettes. Smokers get to enjoy the relaxing sensation of inhaling and exhaling 'smoke' except there is no tobacco involved. It is simply steam that evaporates once the 'smoker' exhales.

Electric cigarettes have been a great help for people who are trying to quit smoking but have not had a lot of success. Now they can have the pleasure of smoking without tobacco's downside. There is no yellowing of the teeth or fingers, no tobacco smell on the clothes, furniture or in the home and it poses no danger to others because there is no second hand smoke. It is almost the perfect cigarette. It can even help those who are addicted to nicotine because the E-juice comes with differing amounts of nicotine. The person can choose E-juice with high, medium, low or no nicotine in it. It is an excellent way to step down nicotine consumption and break the nicotine habit.

Another plus is that the E-juice comes in different flavors. There is E-juice that mimics the regular cigarettes, but there are also fruit flavors, cola, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, coffee and others.
