Elegant Hotels Appoints New General Manager For Tamarind Hotel

Kim Griffith-Lewis has been appointed as the new General Manager for the Tamarind Hotel

, a luxury holiday retreat on the Caribbean island of Barbados.

Griffith-Lewis will join the management team at the luxury resort as it prepares for the busy winter season and gets ready to receive hundreds of tourists as they begin to arrive to their Barbados holidays over the festive period.

The new General Manager of the Elegant Hotels-owned property has extensive experience within the Elegant Group after holding various senior positions within the hotel groups properties since 2007. Griffith-Lewis previously worked as the Assistant Manager at The House, and was the Deputy General Manager at both the Colony Club and Tamarind Hotel. Her knowledge and expertise of the brand will prove to be vital in her new managerial role. She also worked at the Sandy Lane Hotel on the Caribbean island as a guest services agent for two years.

Griffith-Lewis commented: I am looking forward to tackling my new role at Tamarind as we continue to offer all of our guests excellent service and a truly memorable holiday experience.

We have an exciting time ahead of us with Christmas fast approaching and I look forward to working with the rest of the Elegant Group team in planning our strategy for the resort for 2012.
