At the waist, this dress is worn and is fastened. The last part of the kilt is also plain and overlaps the first plain portion, beginning in the front which is plain and the back which is pleated. Fastened by means of straps and buckles, the kilt is knee length. About 7 to 8 yards of fabric is required for the tartan dress of a full grown man.
