Opening the door to the cabin for the first time, sparks the imagination. The innate settings range back in time when the frontiers settled in the area. Pine wood and river stone fireplaces enhance the cabins and suites. After a few days stay, including the exciting winter activities, it has been said, the place is hard to leave.

The staff makes life easy for the guest, for instance a breakfast basket is served, hand delivered to rooms. The rooms includes Jacuzzi tubs, king sized beds, and complementary movie rental. Hidden deep in the wilderness, the cabins have many unique qualities. Relics from the Pilgrim era decorated the highly polished pine walls.

A stroll across the snow covered meadow offers beautiful scenery of Cascade mountains, the rivers and ponds located on the acreage. It is no surprise that many weddings are preformed in this lush area hidden deep in the wilderness.

Activities to entertain the young and the young at heart are incomparable. Horse back riding, horse drawn sleigh and wagon rides, snowmobiling, and many more. A nice large pen is available for private owned horses to be tended while their owners rest and relax at the lodge.

An open dining room warmed with a signature river rock fireplace, serves warm tasty breakfast and dining. The menu has many selections. Made to order omelet bar, hot brewed coffee, freshly baked pastries and an array of other food items cooked to order and served to perfection by a friendly attentive staff.

Only a short drive, approximately ten miles, more activities await. Skiing, snowmobiling, snow sledding, wagon rides, tours and many more to numerous to name. Guided tours are available for adventures into the wilderness.

There are no special requirements for a fun filled adventure at the lodge. Though it is the ideal place for weddings and corporate meetings, many guest return year after year for family vacations. A one time visit extends into many more. Leaving all cares behind and enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the wilderness is the mindset of many. The comfort and hospitality at the lodge is a major factor for return visits.

Weather conditions in the high range often become hazardous on the main roads, however, the roads into the lodge are cleared frequently during snow fall season. There are several different routes to take should the closing of roads occur. When traveling to the Mountain Springs Lodge in winter it is advisable to take snow chains. Regardless of weather conditions, the lodge will be a welcoming site and wonderful experience. Nothing compares to the warmth of a wood burning fire place and a hot Jacuzzi tub after a long trip. After a basking in the warmth of the fire and relaxing in the tub, it may be the time to take an adventurous ride on the horse driven sleigh.
