Etihad Airline Opens A New Door For Flights To South Africa

Etihad Airways new Manchester Lounge is fully laced with all top airport amenities

including an lavish business centre, dining facilities, a relaxation area and showers to ease off the long journey fatigue. This new lounge covers 318 sqm. at Manchester Airport UK.

Another attraction of Etihad Manchester lounge is its memorabilia from Manchester City football club, of which Etihad is a strong sponsor. The Manchester lounge is one of its kind at the airport and according to Andrew Harrison, Manchester Airports managing director, the new lounge "puts Manchester on the map as a world class airport".

He further added, emphasizing on the importance of this location that:

Etihad operates daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Manchester, from where connecting flights to worldwide destinations can be booked. The new Manchester lounge is open to travelers in premium classes, as well as Silver and Gold Etihad Guest card holders regardless of their class of travel or cabin.

At present, there are countable airlines offering flights to important tourist destinations, such as flights to Cape Town directly from Manchester airport without flying via Heathrow. In this regard Etihads new airport lounge is going to make a great difference.

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways chief commercial officer, said that Manchester is an important market for the airlines expansion in the UK travel market. He said:
