European Film Festival 2010 At New Delhi India!

European Union member-states, embassies and the Delegation of the European Commission

in collaboration with a range of local partners arrange this festival every year. It is holding for last 15 years. The film festival is a regular initiative in presenting a selection of modern European cinema to the Indian public in major cities. 23 European movies were screened in this event to capture both local audience and those getting into city taking cheap flights to Delhi India. Delhi is liveliest Indian city. A number of events are holding here regularly throughout the year. This event successfully ran from 24 April to 20 June 2010 in four Indian cities of Goa, Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi, and captured a large number of Delhi India flights this year. This attempt of celebrating films and having a broader perspective to various issues is also giving a chance to international filmmakers to tickle the minds of the huge audiences.

This years festival has vividly reflected European life in different shades socio-economic and cultural environments. It was truly a European event and a huge audience took flights to Delhi India from UK to attend it. European audience used to reserve their flights with well known European Travel Companies such as flights to Delhi India The movies being screened in the event have won several awards. The entertainment provided by these movies is away from the scope of regular cinema. All movies have English subtitles.

The movies, visitors watched by taking flights to Delhi India, and attending this show include; The Investigator, Hungary directed by Attila Gigor, Chopin Desire for Love, Poland Directed by Jerzy Antczak, and Small Engine Repair, Ireland Directed by Niall Henry where Small Engine Repair was nominated for four awards, including Best Film and Best Script, in the Irish Film and Television Awards 2007. Chopin won the Platinum Award for Best Drama and the Gold Award for Best Cinematography at the Houston Film Festival in 2003. The Investigator has won the Best Genre Film, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Editing award at a Hungarian Film Festival. This show got much popularity. Huge crowds of audiences watched it.
